POIZ HQ handles the first with recurring tuition agreements, and the second by refusing to let anything in the browser write payment state.

Collecting from families runs through Stripe on your connected account. Checkout stays disabled until the server reports your payment provider hand-off is ready — POIZ will not show you a pay button that cannot charge.

Questions

Straight answers

Can staff mark a family as paid?
No. Payment, refund and payout state is only ever written by verified server-side provider events. The office can record an order intent, and re-sync an agreement, but cannot declare money received.
What happens if we change a membership price?
Offers are versioned. Existing tuition agreements keep the version they were signed on; a new price applies to new agreements.
Is our tuition income the same thing as our POIZ subscription?
No. Tuition is money families pay you, on your connected payment account. The POIZ HQ subscription is what POIZ charges your studio, on the published plan grid.
